All Football Trials are directly organized by our professional football club: FC TRIGLAV and take place in Kranj, Slovenia with the aim of selecting players who will join the TRIGLAV RESIDENCY ACADEMY. Players may also get a chance to be scouted for a roster spot in our 1st Team or 2nd Team.

FC Triglav's Football Trials take place at the Stanko Mlakar Stadium in Kranj, Slovenia. The Triglav Football Trials are intended for all players, regardless of their current place of residence. However, should you require a visa to enter Slovenia, be advised that the visa application process can be very long with no guarantee that the player will receive visa approval. For players requiring a visa, a minimum of 50% advance payment is required before FC Triglav can issue the necessary documentation. This advance payment is non-refundable in case of visa refusal. Once your advance payment is received, FC Triglav will provide a formal Invitation Letter, a Guarantee Letter signed by the Slovenian Authorities, Hotel reservation and other supporting documents. Note: FC Triglav and the Triglav Academy have no liability whatsoever for the refusal of Visa travel documents and we therefore strongly advise, before registering for a Football Trial, that you check to ensure you qualify for the appropriate ENTRY VISA and Travel requirements to visit Slovenia. Positions Requested All Positions (Goalkeeper, Sweeper, Center-Back, Right-Back, Left-Back, Defensive Mid-fielder, Attacking Midfielder, Left-Winger, Right-Winger, Center-Forward, and Striker) Evaluations Players will be evaluated by our Scouting and Recruiting Team, including on: Physical, Technical, Tactical, Football IQ, Medical and Psychological levels. Upon receipt of your payment, Football Club TRIGLAV will issue a formal Invitation Letter confirming your participation in the Football Trials.

Our players are 24/7 under supervision by Triglav Academy and Residency staff. The players will always remain in the residency premises unless there are activities outside it and they are accompanied.

Players who select the Full-Time Student package will attend school in Slovenia. There is also the possibility of a flexible online school curriculum, which may include academic programs offered by the University of Nebraska in the United States of America. In that case, Players will physically attend their online courses at Ludska Universa Kranj, which is a 10 min walk from the Stanko Mlakar Stadium and will be supervised by an academic tutor.

The Triglav Residency Academy is an intensive football, study and sports program allowing players to improve their football skills while also excelling in academics. Players attending the Triglav's Residency Academy get a chance to become professional footballers with FC TRIGLAV, or with our 2nd Team, or with any of our partner clubs (in Europe), including in Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Germany, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia and Serbia.

The instructions at the football school will be in English.

Visits are permitted with prior organization with the Triglav Academy Staff. Visits to the residence will have to be accompanied by the Triglav Residency Manager. The players will only have permission to leave the premises with a relative or a friend with the written permission of the family at least 48 hours prior to leaving. During players’ activities, the families will only be allowed to watch, if said activity is open to the public. Training sessions can be watched with prior permission.

We provide all the information and documents needed to get the visa, but the process has to be carried out by the student’s families through Slovenian embassies or consulates in their countries.

Our Professional Futbol Club, FC TRIGLAV, travels the world (along with scouts from other major European clubs) to find top talented young players that may join our Residency Academy.

Our Scouting & Recruiting Team at FC TRIGLAV will come with a number of international scouts and coaches from major European clubs, including some of the top clubs in Italy, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and more. Players will be required to attend all scheduled sessions including from the first day until to the last day of the Scouting Event. Using FC TRIGLAV's football methodology provided by our UEFA licensed coaches and recruitment criterias provided by scouts from our European partner clubs, players will participate in: - Physical fitness trainings - Technical and tactical trainings - Football intelligence trainings - Tournament matches - Interview session - One-on-one session with scouts, if applicable

Every soccer player, aged 15 to 25 years old, willing to show his talent, earn a pro contract or get a roster spot in the Residency Academy.

(1) FC TRIGLAV will select a number of players who will come to Europe to attend an Intensive Futbol Training at the TRIGLAV ACADEMY and participate in high profile showcase matches, with the potential of signing a professional contract with our 1st team, 2nd team or get a roster spot in our Residency Academy. (2) The best of the best players during the Scouting Program may receive an offer (on the spot) to join a major club in Europe for a direct contract. (3) A number of players may also receive an invitation for a pro football trial, to attend a Triglav Tournament, or a Residency Academy offer, with a club in Europe. (4) Selected players will attend a one-on-one career discussion with a scout (5) All players will receive a certificate of participation in the Scouting Event. (6) Players may also receive a Scouting Report including an assessment of the player's level.
